Meet Cenisa Mier, LMT
Cenisa is a Texas native who found the transition for herself and her family from their sun-drenched home to the cool, misty landscapes of Washington, to be both daunting yet exhilarating. After being medically discharged from the Army, Cenisa sought a fresh start and a new plan. The Pacific Northwest promised an adventure filled with opportunities.
Cenisa has always inspired to be a positive role model for her two sons, demonstrating the importance of perseverance and pursuing one’s passions. Her interest in massage therapy sparked during high school, a dream that lay dormant until after sustaining injuries in the Army. Experiencing the healing benefits of massage firsthand reignited her dedication to this path. Thus, Cenisa enrolled at the Alexander School for Natural Therapeutics. Her military training had instilled in her a disciplined approach to life, which she found seamlessly translated into her studies. She immersed herself in learning deep tissue techniques, understanding trigger points, and mastering sports massage methods. Each day is a new challenge, but Cenisa thrives on expanding her knowledge with an unyielding desire to help others. Thus, she shows her sons that even when life throws you a curve ball and changes your original plans, you will succeed if you have dedication and hard work.
With the support of her husband, children and father, and countless hours of practice to refine her skills, Cenisa successfully graduated and obtained her license. Eager to apply her experience, she joined All Ways Chiropractic, a warm and welcoming establishment that quickly felt like home. Cenisa hopes to give back to the community by participating in local events and workshops. She frequently volunteers her skills at charity runs and health fairs.
As she looked ahead, Cenisa sees endless possibilities. She thrives on combining her military experiences with holistic healing. The journey has not been easy, but it is filled with growth, resilience, and hope. With each massage, she not only healed bodies but also stitched herself deeper into the fabric of her new community—a proud Texan carving her path among the emerald trees and mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
